Professor presents research on intellectual capital
Dr. Jan Carrell, assistant professor of business, presented a paper at the meeting of the International Academy of Business and Public Administration Disciplines.
Dr. Douglas Anderson, professor of history, is co-author of a review essay published in "Dutch Immigrants on the Plains."
Duane Jundt, lecturer in history, had a book review essay published in the Theodore Roosevelt Association Journal.
Rachel Van Den Broek has been named Northwestern’s director of alumni and parent relations. Van Den Broek, who is currently an NWC admissions counselor, will begin her new position July 1.

Northwestern names Peale Scholarship winners
Eight incoming freshmen—from Illinois, Iowa, South Dakota and Wisconsin—have been selected to receive Norman Vincent Peale Scholarships.

Eight nursing students will formalize their commitment to practice Christ-centered nursing during the department’s first annual Christian Commitment to Professional Nursing Ceremony, to be held April 21.
Elizabeth Grim, a Northwestern senior from Huxley, Iowa, will compete with scenic designers from across the nation at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival April 16–21 in Washington, D.C.
