Master of Education
To be eligible for admission, you must meet the following criteria:
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale ( conditional admission with GPA of 2.7 to 2.99) (Degrees from colleges accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education [ABHE] or affiliated with the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges & Universities [TRACS] will be considered on a case-by-case basis.)
- Send official transcripts from your bachelor's degree institution (no undergraduate transcripts are required of NWC alumni) by mail or as an official e-transcript to admissions@nwciowa.edu.
- Provide a copy of teaching license. Applicants must possess a valid teaching license. A digital or scanned copy from your state's Department of Education website is sufficient.
- Applicants for the M.Ed. Educational Administration + Principal Endorsement, and Principal Endorsement-only option must possess a school year of teaching experience; those in their first year of teaching will be accepted.
Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood
To be eligible for admission, you must meet the following criteria:
- An associate's (AA or AS) or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.25 on a 4.0 scale ( conditional admission with GPA below 2.25)
- Send official transcripts from your associate's degree and all previous institutions (unofficial transcripts can be sent for a transfer credit review, but official transcripts are required for admission) by mail or as an official e-transcript to the admissions@nwciowa.edu.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN)
To be eligible for admission, you must meet the following criteria:
- An associate's degree or hospital diploma in nursing from an accredited institution
- Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale ( conditional admission with GPA below 2.7)
- Send official transcripts from your associate's degree and all previous institutions (unofficial transcripts can be sent for a transfer credit review, but official transcripts are required for admission) by mail or as an official e-transcript to the admissions@nwciowa.edu.
- Provide a copy of active RN license to practice nursing in the state of residence from your Board of Nursing website
