Edman presents Manchester College convocation speech
Dr. Laird Edman, associate professor of psychology, gave the opening convocation address at Indiana’s Manchester College on Sept. 4.
Dr. Dan Young, assistant professor of political science, attended the annual meeting of the American Political Science Association, held in Philadelphia, Pa., Aug. 31 through Sept. 2.
Northwestern College’s enrollment is at an all-time high, with 1,342 students attending classes this fall.

Savariappan attends conference on teaching statistics
Dr. Paul Savariappan, visiting assistant professor of mathematics, attended the Conference on Teaching Introductory Statistics put on by the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee on July 14.
Northwestern is among 163 institutions selected for 2007 “Best in the Midwest” designation by the Princeton Review, based on the opinions of current students.
