NWC announces reorganization in Center for Spiritual Formation

Dr. John Brogan, vice president for student development since 2005, will oversee the CSFV, a division that includes Northwestern’s chapel program and other campus ministry efforts, community and global ministry outreaches, service learning, the
Activities related to Northwestern’s Lilly Grant, Vocare: Find Your Place, will be under the leadership of Dave Nonnemacher, who also now has the title of director of experiential education. He had been Northwestern’s director of service learning since 2003.
Marlon Haverdink, director of leadership development since 2005, has been named director of service learning. He will retain responsibilities in leadership development.
The Rev. Harlan VanOort, Northwestern’s chaplain since 2003, will report to the president and serve as a member of the Administrative Council.
The Center for Spiritual Formation and Vocation was previously under the leadership of Dr. Keith Anderson, dean of spiritual formation and vocation and director of the Lilly Grant. Following his 2006 departure to become the senior vice president of academic affairs and academic dean at
