Endowed gifts
Endowed gifts to Northwestern College are never-ending donations used for the purposes you choose. They are important for the future strength and viability of NWC. Gifts in support of student scholarships are the most common, but they are not the only option.
- Help NWC fund the financial aid packages offered to students
- Funded through outright gifts, irrevocable planned gifts and/or your will
- Scholarship criteria determined by donor in consultation with college personnel
- $25,000 minimum gift
- Helps attract, honor and reward outstanding professors
- Funded through outright gifts, irrevocable planned gifts and/or your will
- Criteria determined by donor in consultation with college personnel
- $2 million minimum gift
- Funding strategic initiatives to meet an emerging need within the broader campus or a specific department
- Funded through outright gifts, irrevocable planned gifts and/or your will
- Criteria determined by donor in consultation with college personnel
- $2 million minimum gift
- Support faculty professorships, fellowships and lectureships
- Provides support for teaching excellence and improvement, visiting academics, research, publication and travel
- Funded through outright gifts, irrevocable planned gifts and/or your will
- Gifts range from $250,000 to $1 million
- Supports general upkeep and maintenance of campus buildings and grounds
- No minimum contribution
