This major is designed to prepare you for a career in information systems by giving you backgrounds in both business and computing. You’ll graduate ready to manage databases, run networks or maintain websites, as well as to serve as a liaison between management and technology services.

Computer science

A mathematical and engineering discipline, computer science studies the structure, theory and application of computers and software. You’ll learn how information is represented and organized and how complex data is managed. You’ll also study the historical and societal impact of technological advances.
