Kinsinger presents paper on Colonial religion
Dr. Mitch Kinsinger presented a paper at the Upper Midwest regional meeting of the American Academy of Religion, held at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minn., on March 31.
Eight incoming freshmen—from Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota—have been selected to receive Norman Vincent Peale Scholarships. Each student will receive a total of $48,000 over four years at NWC from the prestigious scholarship.
Dr. Joonna Trapp, associate professor of English, chaired a sub-section of scholars working on a bibliography for eventual publication on the web.
Northwestern education students spend time off campus each day. What these students are doing is incredibly important: they venture into the community and give their time to help someone else out.

Prof and student present papers at conference
Dr. Michael Avery, assistant professor of business and economics, and senior Emily Hennager of Ames, Iowa, presented papers at the Midwest Business Administration Association conference held from March 15–17 in Chicago.
