The Northwestern College Heritage Singers and Jazz Band will present a concert on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel.

Peter Greer, president and CEO of HOPE International, will speak in Northwestern College’s Christ Chapel at 10:05 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 10.

Dr. John Inazu, an expert in the First Amendment freedoms of speech, assembly and religion, will visit Northwestern College Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Northwestern is responding to the demand for more highly educated caregivers and teachers for young children by adding a bachelor’s degree in early childhood to its online programs. The program is for students who’ve already earned an associate’s degree in early childhood.

Yun Shin, an assistant professor of art at Northwestern College, will display her work in the college’s Te Paske Gallery Oct. 30 through Nov. 17.

“Museum” by Tina Howe will be presented by Northwestern College theatre Nov. 10 and 16–18 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 11 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.

Canadian novelist Randy Boyagoda will read from his forthcoming novel, “Original Prin,” during a Northwestern College Deep Song Reading Series event at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4.

Northwestern College students taking the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) this year scored in the 77th percentile, on average, besting the national average, which is the 50th percentile.

Dr. William Struthers, author of “Wired for Intimacy: How Pornography Hijacks the Male Brain,” will speak at Northwestern College Oct. 24 and 25.

The entire Gospel of John will be performed by guest actress Kelsey Cratty in Northwestern College’s England Proscenium Theatre on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m.
