The scholarly work of 93 Northwestern College undergraduate and graduate students will be on display during the college’s Celebration of Research on Thursday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Rowenhorst Student Center.

Northwestern College’s Symphonic Band will perform in South Dakota and Nebraska during its spring tour, April 12–15.

Osiris Ordaz, a December Northwestern College graduate from Berwyn, Ill., will present her senior art exhibit in the college’s Te Paske Gallery April 9–13.

Northwestern College will hold its first Day of Giving on Thursday, April 12. Titled AllNDay, the event is designed to encourage alumni and friends of the college to be “all in” with their support of NWC.

Dr. Sam Martin, assistant professor of English at Northwestern College, has been selected to receive the grand prize in ScreenCraft’s 2017 Cinematic Short Story contest.

PGA caddie Michael Greller, a 2000 Northwestern College alumnus, will return to campus for an event on April 10.

Dr. Ann Lundberg, professor of English at Northwestern College, presented a paper at the Nineteenth Century Studies Association conference in Philadelphia on March 17.

Tennessee Williams’ classic, “The Glass Menagerie,” will be presented by Northwestern College theatre April 20 and 26–28 at 7:30 p.m. and April 21 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.

A professor and students in Northwestern College’s athletic training program presented their research at the annual meeting and symposium of the Mid-America Athletic Trainers’ Association (MAATA), held March 15–17 in LaVista, Neb.

Ya-Wen Liu, a Northwestern College student from Taiwan, will present her senior art exhibit in the college’s Te Paske Gallery March 27 through April 6.
