Three-time Grammy-nominated Christian artist Crowder will bring his American Prodigal Tour to Northwestern College on Thursday, Nov. 2.

Karen Bohm Barker, professor of theatre at Northwestern College, will present a one-woman musical drama on Friday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 7, at 2 and 7 p.m. in Northwestern’s England Proscenium Theatre.

Stephen Swanson, professor of voice at the University of Iowa, will present a guest voice recital at Northwestern College on Friday, Oct. 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel.

Northwestern College’s Te Paske Gallery will feature woodcarvings by Bob Kroese of Pella, Iowa, during an art exhibit scheduled for Sept. 29 through Oct. 20.

Three Northwestern College graduates who earned All-American honors will be inducted into the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, Sept. 30. The honorees, along with the 2017–18 Red Raider Club Coaches of the Year and Barnabas Award recipients, will be recognized at a luncheon and at halftime of the football game.

The Rev. Dr. Denise Kingdom Grier, lead pastor of a multiethnic, multicultural and multigenerational church in Holland, Mich., will speak in chapel on Sept. 22.

Northwestern College’s annual Morning on the Green carnival is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 30, as a part of the Raider Days Homecoming and Parents Weekend celebration.

Northwestern College will host a traveling exhibit, “German Iowa and the Global Midwest,” at the DeWitt Learning Commons Sept. 27 to Oct. 9.
