Northwestern College will host a traveling exhibit, “German Iowa and the Global Midwest,” at the DeWitt Learning Commons Sept. 27 to Oct. 9.

Northwestern College will present three of its alumni with awards recognizing their accomplishments and service during the college’s Raider Days Homecoming and Parents Weekend.

Children’s classic “Fantastic Mr. Fox” will be presented by Northwestern College theatre Friday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 30, at 4 p.m.

Several ensembles and student soloists will be featured at the Raider Days Concert on Saturday, Sept. 30.

Northwestern College is ranked 10th among 80 Midwestern regional colleges in U.S. News & World Report’s 2018 Best Colleges guidebook.

Dr. Jason Lief has received a $5,000 grant from the Science for Youth Ministry Initiative to develop a course on faith and science for Northwestern College’s youth ministry curriculum.

Northwestern College will celebrate Raider Days, the college’s annual Homecoming and Parents Weekend, Sept. 29–30, with reunions, banquets and other traditions.

President Greg Christy expressed his support for DACA and the nearly 800,000 individuals registered through the program in an email sent to the campus community on Sept. 5.

Author Dr. Daniel Taylor will speak at a workshop called Creating Your Spiritual Legacy: Telling the Stories of Your Life Sept. 16 in Sioux Center.

Yun Shin, assistant professor of art at Northwestern College, is exhibiting her “Pattern Studies” works at the Des Moines Art Center through Sunday, Dec. 3.
