Northwestern College’s intercultural development office will hold its first Beloved Music and Arts Festival on Friday, April 27, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The event will take place on the campus green north of Zwemer Hall. In case of inclement weather, the festival will be moved to the Rowenhorst Student Center. The event and is free and open to the public.

“The Beloved Music and Arts Festival is an opportunity to bring people together around the theme of love through music and art,” says Rahn Franklin, director of multicultural student development at Northwestern. “We want the event to serve as an example of beloved community and what it means to be love, loved and the beloved of Christ.”

The festival will include live music and a meal. Several games on the campus green, including bean bag toss and ladder golf, will also be available. A meal of hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and lemonade will be served on the campus green from 5 to 6 p.m. for a cost of $5.
