State grant to help NWC maintain historical records
Northwestern has received a grant of $12,317 from the State Historical Society of Iowa to aid in translating, cataloging and digitizing college historical records.
Jamey Durham, assistant professor of communication studies, is serving as producer for a new film that is being shot in Orange City this summer. Several NWC students are serving as actors, production assistants and technicians.

Profs awarded grant to study effects of buckthorn
Dr. Laurie Furlong and Dr. Todd Tracy have been awarded an Iowa Science Foundation grant to study the invasive European buckthorn at Oak Grove County Park near Hawarden.
