Ellingson receives Wall Street Journal award
Billi Ellingson, a senior actuarial science major from Pella, Iowa, was named Northwestern’s 2006 recipient of the Wall Street Journal Student Achievement Award.
Piet Koene, instructor of Spanish, has been named to the roster of certified court interpreters for the state of Iowa.
Barb Dewald, associate dean of spiritual formation, and Dr. Rod Spidahl, associate professor of religion/missiology, will present workshops at the Fellowship of Short-Term Mission Leaders conference in Atlanta Oct. 11 to 15.

Nearly $5.8 million raised to date for Northwestern’s Imagine Campaign
Gifts to the Imagine Campaign are approaching $6 million as Northwestern College continues work on the silent phase of the largest fund-raising effort in its history.

Officers elected for Northwestern's student chapter of ACM
Officers for Northwestern's student chapter of the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) have been elected for the 2006-07 school year. Members have also planned events for the fall semester.
Six freshmen at Dordt and Northwestern have been awarded $1,500 renewable scholarships from the MTC Foundation Inc. of Sioux Center.
