For the third consecutive year, Northwestern College has set enrollment records. This fall’s enrollment is 1,585, up more than 2% from last year’s record of 1,546.

Northwestern College’s latest psychology graduates scored in the top 4% on the ETS Major Field Test in Psychology, a national standardized test that assesses mastery of key concepts and principles.

Members of the public are invited to join Northwestern College students, faculty and staff for the dedication of the Frank and Lois Vogel Welcome Center. Tours of the new facility will follow the 4:30 p.m. ceremony on Friday, Sept. 17.

Seven NWC graduates will be honored at the Athletic Awards Luncheon on Saturday, Sept. 18. Dr. Jeremy Bolluyt, Karen (Hutson) Ettleman, Ben Miller and Mitch Peschon will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Brandt Carlson and Josh Potter will receive Coach of the Year honors, and the Barnabas Award will be given to Jessica (Wedel) Bulthuis.

Northwestern College will hold Raider Nation Celebration, the college’s annual Homecoming Weekend, Sept. 17-18. The weekend’s events include class reunions, banquets, athletic events and traditions such as the Red Raider Road Race and Morning on the Green carnival.

Northwestern College will present five of its alumni with awards recognizing their accomplishments and service during Raider Nation Celebration, the college’s Homecoming weekend. The recipients will be honored during a banquet Saturday evening, Sept. 18.

Sixteen leaders from throughout northwest Iowa have been accepted into the first cohort of Accelerate Siouxland, a regional leadership development program offered by Northwestern College’s Center for Innovation & Leadership.

Northwestern College invites high school and transfer students to visit campus during the 2021–22 school year. Northwestern offers individual visits and Raider Days (group visit days) as an introduction to the college for prospective students.

Northwestern College’s Te Paske Gallery will host exhibits by three local artists during the 2021–22 school year.

For the second year in a row, Northwestern College’s latest nursing graduates have recorded a 100% first-time pass rate on the NCLEX-RN board exam.
