The scholarly work of 93 Northwestern College undergraduate and graduate students will be on display during the college’s Celebration of Research on Thursday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Rowenhorst Student Center.

Northwestern profs awarded sabbaticals, research fellowships
Northwestern College has announced the names of professors awarded endowed research grants and sabbaticals for 2017–18.
Northwestern College Spanish prof Piet Koene has recently been certified as a medical interpreter through the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters.
Piet Koene, associate professor of Spanish at Northwestern, has been re-elected for a third term to the Board of Directors for the Iowa Interpreters and Translators Association.
Northwestern Spanish professor Dr. Diana Gonzalez presented at the International Association for the Promotion of Christian Higher Education’s international conference in South Korea.
