Northwestern College to celebrate student research
The scholarly work of 67 Northwestern College students will be on display during the college’s first Celebration of Research on Thursday, April 6, in the Rowenhorst Student Center.

Alexa Van Maanen, a senior art major at Northwestern College, will present an exhibit of her work in Northwestern’s Te Paske Gallery April 3–7.

Northwestern College seniors Nancy Becerra-Balbuena, Carrie Bouwman and Sharla De Bruin will display their artwork during an exhibit in the Te Paske Gallery March 28–31.

Jessa Doom and Michael Johnson will present a joint senior art exhibit in Northwestern College’s Te Paske Gallery March 20–24.

The influence of generations of art professors, including John Kaericher, professor emeritus of art at Northwestern College, will be emphasized through exhibits at Minot State University.

Alissa Sinclair, a senior at Northwestern College, will present an exhibit of her artwork in Northwestern’s Te Paske Gallery Feb. 20–24.

Prints that use symbolism to consider Christian theology and the church’s witness are the focus of an upcoming exhibit at Northwestern College by Ryan Stander.

Yun Shin, assistant professor of art at Northwestern College, was recently featured in the Iowa Arts Council’s Meet the Artist series.

Emily Wallace, an art/graphic design major at Northwestern College, will present her senior art exhibit Nov. 28–Dec. 5 at the Old Factory Coffee Shop.

Watercolors and photographs by Steve Johnson of Charleston, S.C., are on display in Northwestern College’s Te Paske Gallery Nov. 7 through Dec. 9.
