Yun Shin, assistant professor of art, has been awarded an artist fellowship from the Iowa Arts Council.
Four graduating seniors at Northwestern College received Faculty Honors during the college’s commencement exercises on May 14.

Northwestern student artwork part of juried exhibition
Northwestern College’s final art show of the academic year will feature work chosen as part of a juried exhibition that will run April 25 through May 6.
Twenty-five regional artists will be featured in Orange City Arts’ exhibit April 22-30 at the DeWitt Theatre Arts Center at Northwestern College.
Northwestern senior Kali Jo Wolkow will present her art exhibit in the college’s Te Paske Gallery April 11–15.
Hannah Shie, an art/graphic design and Spanish major at Northwestern College, will present her senior art exhibit in the college’s Te Paske Gallery April 3–8.
“Me and Trees,” an art exhibit by Northwestern College senior Caitlyn Van Es, will be on display in the upstairs of the Old Factory Coffee Shop March 21–29.
“Restoration and Reformation,” an art exhibit by Northwestern College seniors Savannah Clapper and Thea DeWaard, will be on display in the college’s Te Paske Gallery March 28 through April 1.
Northwestern College seniors Andrew Minor and Maria Vander Plaats will display their artwork Feb. 29 through March 4 in the college’s Te Paske Gallery.
