Jazz Band and Percussion Ensemble to perform
Northwestern’s Jazz Band and Percussion Ensemble will perform a variety of styles during a concert on Nov. 14.
Senior Abby (Leusink) Sheppard of Hawarden will present a vocal recital on Nov. 8.
Dr. Scott Monsma, associate professor of sociology, presented a paper at the Iowa Dialogue Conference.
"Ballad Hunter," a play about three generations of Appalachian women, will be on stage Nov. 12–14 and 19–21 in the England Theatre.

Northwestern professors present papers at Symposium on Faith and Culture at Baylor University
Northwestern professors Dr. Daniel Young and Dr. Mike Kugler presented papers at the third annual Baylor Symposium on Faith and Culture, held Oct. 8-10 at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Five Northwestern ensembles will perform in the Family Weekend Concert on Saturday, Oct. 31.
Fiction writer David McGlynn will participate in the Deep Song Reading Series on Oct. 26.
