Bomgaars candidate for CCCU Young Alumni Award

Curt Bomgaars, a 2010 Northwestern College business administration/finance graduate who started FLYJOY snack bars as a way to provide business for quinoa producers in South America, is Northwestern's nominee for the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) Young Alumni Award. Bomgaars uses a portion of his profits to help HOPE International provide a hand up for entrepreneurs in developing countries.

All of the finalists will be featured in a future issue of Advance, the CCCU’s biannual magazine, and on the CCCU website. The winner will be recognized at a ceremony during the organization’s 40th anniversary gala in Washington, D.C., next January.
