As the administrative assistant for the business and economics department, Kirsten Buiter helps professors provide high-impact experiential educational practices for current and future Northwestern students. She documents the department’s work for accreditation and assessment reports and builds and maintains relationships with business partners. She also helps the Center for Innovation and Leadership through her work with maintaining the contact database, event preparation, and more.

Prior to joining Northwestern's staff, Kirsten worked as an audit administrative assistant for AmBank Company. She also spent six years as the assistant to the director of operations for Sioux Center Christian School, where she serves as the assistant theatre director. She is a graduate of Dordt University.
