High school students invited to Preview Days
Northwestern has scheduled seven Preview Days this fall for high school students and their parents to visit the campus and learn more about the opportunities the college provides.
“Prolonged Tranquility,” painting and prints by Orange City artist Elinor Noteboom, will be on display Oct. 2–30 in Te Paske Gallery.
Eric Iverson, multicultural integrity director of YouthWorks, a Christian organization in Minneapolis working with youth and missions, will speak in Northwestern's chapel services Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
A Hispanic Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the campus green.
Northwestern College will celebrate the inauguration of its ninth president, Greg Christy, on Friday, Oct. 10.
RUSH, a student dance concert, will be presented on Oct. 3, 4 and 11.
Northwestern's popular Morning on the Green carnival will be presented as part of Homecoming festivities on Sept. 27.
The Art-Music-Justice Tour, featuring Sara Groves, Brandon Heath, Derek Webb, Sandra McCracken and Charlie Peacock, comes to Northwestern on Friday, Oct. 10, at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free.
Award-winning storyteller Antonio Sacre will visit Northwestern for a Hispanic Festival Sept. 16–20.
Northwestern will honor three distinguished alumni on Sept. 26 during Homecoming festivities. Dr. Charollene Coates '51, Rob Roozeboom '01 and Dr. Ron Juffer '59 will be recognized for their professional, humanitarian and Northwestern service achievements.
