Edman contributes chapter to book

Dr. Laird Edman, professor of psychology at Northwestern College, is the author of a chapter in a new book published by Wiley-Blackwell.
Edman contributed to Teaching Critical Thinking in Psychology: A Handbook of Best Practices, edited by Dana Dunn, Jane Halonen and Randolph Smith. His chapter is entitled "Are They Ready Yet? Developmental Issues in Teaching Thinking."
The 2008 recipient of Northwestern's Teaching Excellence Award, Edman has been a member of the NWC faculty since 2003. He holds a doctorate in educational psychology that focused on cognition and learning from the University of Minnesota.
