NWC students earn recognition in singing competition
Four Northwestern vocal students advanced beyond the opening round of competition at the National Association of Teachers of Singing Lewis and Clark spring auditions.
Northwestern’s Brass Quintet, Percussion Ensemble and Strings Ensemble will present a joint recital on Friday, May 8, at 7:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel.
Northwestern honored 49 longtime employees at the college’s Spring Recognition Banquet on April 21.

Northwestern trustees approve 2009-10 budget
Northwestern’s 2009–10 budget will feature a nearly two percent reduction in tuition, room and board for incoming students. The budget was approved at the spring Board of Trustees meeting.
Randy Van Peursem, science support services professional, has been named the 2009 recipient of the college’s Staff Recognition for Inspirational Service Award.
Northwestern College will give back to the Orange City community through its Day of Service on Saturday, April 25.
Dr. Richard Leo Enos, professor of English at Texas Christian University and a leading scholar on the history of rhetoric, will be a guest speaker at Northwestern College April 27 and 28.
