Two Northwestern faculty members have been awarded sabbatical leaves for research projects.

Sophocles’ Greek tragedy “Antigone” will be presented by Northwestern College theatre Nov. 8, 9 and 14–16.

The Rev. Doug Leonard, director of Northwestern’s Oman Semester, will give a guest lecture on Christian-Muslim relations on Oct. 29.

Northwestern will host a Nursing Mini-Camp for high school juniors and seniors considering careers in nursing on Friday, Nov. 22.

Kim Van Es, lecturer in English at Northwestern, and four students presented at the Iowa Council of Teachers of English annual fall conference.

Tom Truesdell, director of academic support at Northwestern, and six students will present at the Midwest Writing Centers Association Conference.

High school seniors interested in theatre are invited to attend Northwestern College Theatre Preview Days on Nov. 15 and 16.

Dr. Juyeon Kang, associate professor of music at Northwestern College, will present a faculty recital in Christ Chapel on Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m.

Ensemble: Périphérie, a chamber ensemble composed by associate professor of music Luke Dahn, will perform at Carnegie Hall on Oct. 26.

The Orange City Arts Council and Northwestern's art department will host several life-drawing sessions in the Korver Visual Arts Building.
