Musical comedy on stage at Northwestern
Northwestern's theatre department will present “Man of La Mancha,” a musical comedy based on Cervantes’ classic novel “Don Quixote."

The Northwestern College Symphonic Band will perform a concert on Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.

Portraits by Omaha artist Rachel Mindrup will be on display in Northwestern’s Te Paske Gallery Feb. 3–21. A public reception will be held Feb. 7.

Vocalist Holly Bewlay, assistant professor of music at SUNY Buffalo State, will perform a guest recital on Feb. 1 at 7:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel.

Northwestern's Drama Ministries Ensemble will perform at the Calvin Symposium on Worship in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Northwestern to host Theatre Preview Days
High school seniors interested in theatre are invited to attend Northwestern College Theatre Preview Days on Feb. 14 and 15.

Phil Scorza, instructor in art at Northwestern, has earned a M.F.A. degree from the Lesley University College of Art and Design in Boston.

Acclaimed playwright Timothy Mooney will perform “The Greatest Speech of All Time” in Northwestern’s Allen Theatre on Jan. 17.

Hundreds of items will be up for bid at the Northwestern College Alumni Association’s 31st annual Scholarship Auction on Feb. 8.

Twenty-one of Northwestern’s academic programs are listed in the 2014 edition of Rugg’s Recommendations on the Colleges.
