Northwestern to present alumni awards
Northwestern will present three of its alumni with awards recognizing their service during the college’s Raider Days celebration Oct. 25.

Kim Van Es, lecturer in English, will give a presentation at the annual Iowa Council of Teachers of English conference Oct. 9.

Mark Charles, a Christian leader who works for reconciliation on behalf of Native Americans, will speak in Northwestern’s chapel Oct. 13 and 14.

Northwestern theatre to present children's play
“Tales of the Kingdom” will be presented by Northwestern College theatre Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 25 at 4 p.m. in the Allen Theatre.

Northwestern College will celebrate Raider Days, the college’s annual homecoming and family weekend, Oct. 24–25.

The 21st annual Red Raider Road Race will take place during Northwestern’s Raider Days homecoming and family weekend celebration.

Dr. Rebecca Hoey, director of online learning, co-authored an article published in the Online Journal of Distance Learning Administration.

Tervel Dlagnev, a medalist at the 2014 and 2009 World Championships and a member of the 2012 U.S. Olympic team, will speak Oct. 2-3.

Kristin McDonald, an instructor in Spanish at Northwestern College, has completed a Master of Arts in the Teaching of Languages degree.

A series of portraits by Northwestern College art professor Phil Scorza will be on display in the Te Paske Gallery Sept. 29 through Oct. 24.
