Northwestern College religion professor Dr. John Hubers has been elected to serve as president of the Midwest Mission Studies Fellowship.

The Northwestern College music department will present its Christmas Vespers service Saturday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 7, at 3 p.m.

An essay written by Duane Jundt, lecturer in history at Northwestern, has been published in the Theodore Roosevelt Association Journal.

Northwestern is making its fourth appearance on the Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces education list by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

Dr. John Foubert, one of the nation’s leading authorities on rape and sexual assault prevention, will speak in chapel on Nov. 17.

Beginning next fall, Northwestern College will offer a major in genetics, molecular biology and cellular biology.

Befus writes about Business as Mission
An article about "Business as Mission" projects by NWC professor David Befus has been included on a blog from the Denver Institute for Faith and Work.

The Northwestern College Symphonic Band will present a concert on Friday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel.

James Tughan will visit Northwestern College Nov. 10-11 as part of the Ronald R. Nelson Scholars and Artists in Residence Program.

Twenty-two regional artists will be featured in an exhibit at Northwestern College’s DeWitt Theatre Arts Center Nov. 13-22.
