Northwestern senior to present organ recital

Northwestern College senior Mikayla Vos will perform an organ recital on Saturday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.

Vos will perform Dietrich Buxtehude’s “Praeludium in D Minor,” followed by Johann Bach’s “Herzlich tut mich verlangen BWV 727” and “Processional” by William Mathis. She will also perform Max Reger’s “Benedictus” before closing the concert with César Franck’s “Pièce Héroïque.”

Vos is a music major from Reasnor, Iowa. The daughter of Meldon and Eloise Vos, she also plays tuba in the college’s Chamber Orchestra and Symphonic Band.
