Northwestern College’s Living Your Faith (LYF), a youth theology camp for high school students, has received two grants to extend the impact of the program.

Northwestern College chamber ensembles will present a concert Friday, Dec. 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel.

Two Northwestern professors, Dr. Jennifer Feenstra, psychology, and Dr. John Vonder Bruegge, biblical and theological studies, recently presented at the National Collegiate Honors Council’s annual conference in Boston.

Dr. Robert Winn, professor of history at Northwestern College, is the author of a new book, “Christianity in the Roman Empire: Key Figures, Beliefs and Practices of the Early Church (A.D. 100–300).”

The Northwestern College music department will present its annual Christmas Vespers concert on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 2, at 3 p.m. in Christ Chapel.

Jim Martin, vice president of spiritual formation at International Justice Mission (IJM), will speak in Northwestern College’s chapel service on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 11:05 a.m. in Christ Chapel.

Dr. Jeff VanDerWerff, political science professor and dean of the social sciences at Northwestern College, was a guest commentator on KDCR radio on election night.

Chip Reece of Wichita, Kan., a 2004 Northwestern College alumnus, will read from his graphic novel, “Metaphase,” during a Northwestern College Deep Song Reading Series event at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20.

Orange City area residents are invited to join Northwestern College students, faculty and staff for the annual President’s Christmas Tree Lighting Monday evening, Nov. 26.

Mark Charles, a Christian leader who works for reconciliation on behalf of Native Americans, will speak at Northwestern College Nov. 13 and 14.
