Northwestern's Oman Semester will take you to the Middle Eastern country of Oman, known for its peacefulness, modernity, hospitality and openness. You'll learn Arabic and study the Islamic religion with a goal of furthering understanding and trust between Christians and Muslims.  Learn more

Enjoy the beauty of an area known as one of the top backpacking destinations in Europe. Through Northwestern's Romania Semester, you'll study sustainable community development and intern with New Horizons Foundation, a nonprofit that hosts youth clubs and camps and uses experiential education to teach Romanian youth self-confidence, teamwork and trust.  Learn more

The Australia Studies Centre is offered through the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) in partnership with Christian Heritage College. You'll study Australian culture, history, religion, politics and Indigenous cultures. Enroll in the Creation Care Study Program and spend a semester in one of the most spectacular, diverse environments in the world. Offered through the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU), the Latin America Studies Program (LASP) is based in San Jose, Costa Rica. Choose this study abroad experience if you want to think critically about Latin American culture and connect experiential learning with classroom discussions about biology, international business and more. Take classes and live with students at Uganda Christian University, an international affiliate of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities. Your semester will include a Faith and Action course that challenges participants to consider the way Christians respond to poverty and suffering. Learn Welsh culture and live with British students while taking classes at Bangor University.
