Students to perform relationship musical
"The Last Five Years," a musical by Jason Robert Brown, will be presented by Northwestern theatre Oct. 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the England Theatre.

Ron De Jong, VP for external relations, has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals.

Derek Lane, president of Mendenhall Ministries in Mississippi, will speak in chapel on Oct. 13.

Dr. Preston Stegenga, Northwestern College's third president, died on Sept. 17 at the age of 86.

Northwestern College is ranked as the fifth most adoption-friendly educational institution in the nation, according to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

Christian singer/songwriter Brian Fraaza will be a guest performer at Northwestern on Friday, Oct. 8.

Jimmy Dorrell, co-founder and executive director of Mission Waco and a prominent voice for Christian community development, will speak at Northwestern Oct. 5 and 6.

The second annual Northwestern’s Best Dance Crew competition will take place on Friday, Oct. 1.

The Rev. Wesley Granberg-Michaelson, general secretary of the Reformed Church in America, will speak in chapel on Tuesday, Sept. 28.

"Asian Folk Tales," a collection of stories from Korea, Japan and Taiwan, will be presented by Northwestern College theatre Oct. 1 and 2.
