Real-life skills
As a resident assistant and basketball player, Nathan understands the value of Christ-centered leadership. He chose Northwestern because of the strong commitment to faith-based learning, challenging courses, and opportunities for real-life professional experiences. Through high-quality and personable instruction from the business and education faculty, Nathan feels confident he will be prepared to teach the next generation with excellence.
Formative + Christ-centered
I chose Northwestern because of the faith-based learning I was guaranteed in all my courses, alongside the formative and Christ-centered coaching I knew I would receive. I was welcomed and felt at home right away and was able to clearly see the community of believers on campus.
Experiential learning
The Northwestern business education program excels at helping students gain the best resources and experience possible to be prepared for a future career. The professors in the education and business programs work side-by-side to help mix in the perfect balance of classroom experience and courses with business knowledge.
Real-life faith
As I have been a part of the Northwestern business education program, I’ve gained a better understanding of what it looks like to be a follower of Christ in an often-secular work environment. Getting to see how my professors live out their walk with Christ, and beginning to understand how the Holy Spirit can use me and my business platform to share the gospel with my coworkers, has been foundational.
Equipping the next generation
I originally started college as a social studies education major but transitioned to business education. I desired to have a wider range of skills that would give me the opportunity to work in the business world and/or teach the next generation important skills for their financial, economic and business future.
