Moved to serve

An exercise science major and psychology minor, Emily aspires to follow in her mom’s footsteps and become a physical therapist. When she’s not studying, Emily stays active as a varsity women’s soccer player and enjoys building relationships with other women in her dorm.

Strong first impression
I chose Northwestern because of the great community that greeted me when I came to visit, as well as NWC’s reputation for academic excellence. The kinesiology department’s consistent 100% graduate school placement rate also impressed me.

Faith-centered
As a student at Northwestern, you are constantly asked questions about your walk with the Lord and presented with ways to practice your faith. My professors’ commitment to their faith is evident as they encourage students to consider how each class relates to our Christian beliefs.

Profs who care
The faculty at Northwestern are caring and God-fearing people. Each professor strives to set an example for us as students and to help us succeed in everything we do at NWC.

Fully invested
I stand out at Northwestern by being intentionally invested in my college experience. I strive to give my full effort in classes, relationships with peers, and out on the soccer field. I hope to show the love of Christ to those around me, both on campus and in my future career.
