Chelsie Reed, Dayton, Wyo., researched the temporary effects of encouragement during a problem-solving task on college students’ self-esteem, self-efficacy and persistence.
Amanda Majerus, Sioux Center, Iowa, studied self-verification and its effects on roommate relationships.
And Alison Sadler, Eagle Grove, Iowa, researched the effects of IQ, personality and leadership ability in college students.
