Church planter for RCA to speak during Northwestern College chapel
Wednesday, January 18, 2017
Tim Vink, senior church multiplication catalyst for the Reformed Church in America (RCA), will speak during a Northwestern College chapel service on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 11:05 a.m. in Christ Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.
In his denominational role, Vink leads an entrepreneurial gospel movement that seeks to increase the number of parenting churches, which in turn will plant more churches. He also sends out trained church planters into areas of need throughout North America. Vink previously served as senior pastor at Tulare Community Church in Tulare, Calif.; a classis minister and regional strategist for the RCA’s Regional Synod of the Far West; and associate pastor of First Reformed Church in Maurice, Iowa.
A 1987 graduate of Northwestern College, Vink earned a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
