Prospective students and parents invited to Northwestern's campus

Northwestern College invites prospective students and their parents to visit campus during Iowa Private College Week (IPCW), Aug. 1–5. Designed to help families jump-start their college search process, IPCW is now in its 18th year at 25 institutions that are members of the Iowa Association of Independent Colleges and Universities.

“A campus visit is the best way to get a feel for the culture and the people you would be surrounded with during your college years,” says Jackie Davis, Northwestern’s director of admissions. “Iowa Private College Week is a great way to experience firsthand what a college has to offer.”

At Northwestern, tours and information sessions will be available each day of Iowa Private College Week at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Visitors can tour campus, meet with coaches and chat with current Northwestern students, as well as faculty and staff, to get answers to their questions about college life. All who visit Northwestern that week will receive a free T-shirt. In addition, two students who take part in Iowa Private College Week at Northwestern and subsequently enroll will be given $500 bookstore vouchers.
