Imagine Campaign receives three 6-figure gifts

Since publicly announcing the $55 million Imagine Campaign on Sept. 30, Northwestern College has received more than $1 million in new donations, including three 6-figure gifts. The college had raised $35.9 million as of Nov. 1.

A life insurance gift of $306,000 from a private donor was designated for the learning commons. The gift, along with a $100,000 grant from the Roy J. Carver Foundation, bring total fundraising for the $15 million learning commons to $10.7 million.

An estate gift totaling more than $252,000 established two endowed scholarships for students. The donation brings Imagine Campaign scholarship fundraising to $6.1 million toward an $8 million goal.
