Professors speak at conference

Three Northwestern College faculty members spoke at the 2009 annual meeting of the Association of Christians Teaching Sociology, which was hosted by Northwestern June 4-7.
Dr. Jennifer Feenstra, assistant professor of psychology, presented a paper along with Darci Van Dyke, a psychology major who will be a senior this fall. They spoke on "Does Serving Others Contribute to Personal Growth? A Study of Short-Term Service."
Dr. Scott Monsma, associate professor of sociology, spoke on "Defining Marriage: Changes and Challenges."
Dr. Mike Yoder, professor of sociology, presented "Classroom Advocacy? A Pacifist's Dilemma."
