Kinsinger speaks at international youth ministry conference

Dr. Mitch Kinsinger, associate professor of religion and Christian education at Northwestern College, presented a paper at the biennial conference of the International Association for the Study of Youth Ministry. The conference was held at
Kinsinger spoke on “‘Discountenancing Vice’ to ‘God-Bearing Life’: Reflections on the Historiography of Youth Ministry.” The presentation was part of the conference’s track on youth ministry education and organization.
Kinsinger, who also presented a paper at the association’s 2007 conference in Cambridge, has been a member of Northwestern’s faculty since 2000. He earned a doctorate in religious studies from the University of Iowa, a Master of Divinity degree from Western Theological Seminary, and a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College.
