Boston Brass to perform Dec. 10

The world-renowned Boston Brass will perform in concert at Northwestern College's Christ Chapel on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m. The program will include Christmas selections as well as other pieces from the ensemble's repertoire.
The concert is sponsored by the Orange City Arts Council, with assistance from NWC.
The five-member group brings humor and personality to its performances of original arrangements. Boston Brass performs globally in more than 100 concerts annually and has conducted master classes at colleges and universities around the country.
Boston Brass has been featured on CBS' "Early Show," National Public Radio's "Performance Today" and the Great American Brass Band Festival. The ensemble has recorded several albums, the latest of which, "Out of This World," features music for brass and organ on the Loft Recordings label.
Tickets purchased in advance are $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. They may be purchased in Orange City at the Dove Bookstore, Town Hall, the Orange City Arts Council office and the Northwestern College music office. In Sioux Center, tickets are available at True Vine Bookstore and the Dordt College music office. At the door, tickets are $10 for adults.
