Professors speak at foreign language conference

Three faculty members in Northwestern's foreign language department spoke at the North American Christian Foreign Language Association (NACFLA) conference in Grand Rapids, Mich., on March 28-29.

Rick Clark spoke on "Developing a Portfolio of Ideas for Foreign Language Teachers.”
Dr. Diana Gonzalez presented “Is Metaphor Bilingual?” Piet Koene spoke on "The Price of Justice: Interpretation Costs in the Legal System and a Christian Perspective.” 

Koene served NACFLA as president this year.
