Exhibitions to feature work by senior art majors

The first show, March 12–18, will feature artwork by Amy Thvedt of Beresford, S.D. Entitled “We Meet Again,” it will reintroduce people to Thvedt through her art. The exhibition will include paintings, drawings, prints and sculpture. A reception with the artist is scheduled for Sunday, March 16, at 4 p.m. Thvedt plans to pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree after graduating from Northwestern.
Emily Sweet, a senior art and writing/rhetoric major from
April 2–7 are the dates for Jon Woehl’s exhibition. A reception with the artist—a senior art and math major from Ankeny, Iowa—is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, at 7 p.m. Entitled “Courage, Endurance, Triumph,” Woehl’s show will primarily feature sculpture and reliefs of welded steel, hand-built clay and press-mold clay.
