Psychology major to present research at conference

Candace Gross, a Northwestern College senior psychology major from Parker, S.D., will speak at the national conference of the American Educational Research Association in Chicago April 9–13.
She will present a paper she wrote as the result of her research project on gifted students at
Gross says results of her study indicated significant gender and grade-level differences for overexcitabilities, which are innate supersensitivity to stimuli. In addition, multiple relationships were found between overexcitabilities, self-concept and grade level.
