Director of Intercultural Development

Northwestern College seeks a relational, mission-driven, and culturally intelligent student development leader to promote Northwestern’s mission and Vision for Diversity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Fostering the academic, social, spiritual and emotional thriving of college students, including culturally diverse, first-generation, and commuter students
  • Selecting and mentoring student leaders in the Bridge Scholars program
  • Managing programs, staff and budget in the Bridge Center for Intercultural Development
  • Equipping and empowering faculty & staff to pursue intercultural initiatives and goals
  • Engaging in outreach to build relationships between the college and the local community

Qualified applicants will have a sincere faith, a vision for biblically based reconciliation, and a proven track record of fostering intercultural understanding and development. Qualified applicants must have experience in working with college students and a master’s degree, preferably in student development, intercultural education, higher education or a related field. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
