Nurses, clergy, and interested laypersons are invited to attend this conference, presented by Dr. Ruth Daumer.
This course is designed as an introduction to the practice of parish nursing. Emphasis will be placed on the congregation’s role in health and healing, parish nursing roles, applying the nursing process within a whole person health context, and resources available for development and implementation of parish nurse programs. Credit Education Units will be available for nurses through HealthShips LLC, Iowa Board of Nursing Provider # 349.
The cost of the conference including a meal and refreshments, materials and 0.4 CEUs is $35 ($25 without CEUs). Checks payable to New Life Reformed Church.
