Health and Wellness Fair

Please join us on Thursday, November 10^th for our annual Health & Wellness Fair. 

All employees are welcome to attend regardless of your participation in any of the college’s benefit offerings.  There will be snacks, many free screenings and the always popular chair massage.

Flu shots will be offered.  Please bring a completed consent form (attached) and a copy of your health insurance card.  The Orange City Area Health System will provide flu shots and bill your insurance.  Flu shots are covered under the preventive health services of the college’s health plan.  The cost for the flu shot if you do not have health coverage for immunizations is $77 for the regular flu shot and $121 for the high dose flu shot (for those over 65 years old).  Family members are welcome to get a flu shot at NWC as well.    

This year, we have a Medicare specialist who will be available to meet with employees and answer questions.  If you would like some 1x1 time with her, please email me to set up a time to meet with her in-between 9am and 11am  These 1x1 meetings can happen in the N-Club Room if employees would like a more private space to speak with her.  This room is off the Bultman Center Lobby. 

The annual employee benefit meeting will be in the Bultman Center Gym at 11:00.  If you cannot attend the meeting, feel free to pick up your red folder that day and don’t forget to register for prizes!  You don’t have to be present at the employee benefit meeting to win all prizes – only those offered during the meeting.  Any red folders remaining after the meeting will be placed in campus mail.
