Dr. Jamie "JC" Chambers is one of the founders of Stronghold Counseling Services, Inc. He received a bachelor's degree in art and education from Sterling College in Kansas and a master's degree in counseling from North American Baptist Seminary in Sioux Falls, S.D. He holds a doctorate degree in counselor education from the University of South Dakota at Vermillion.

He is licensed as a psychologist, marriage and family therapist, and professional counselor in the state of South Dakota. He is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and has been an AAMFT Approved Supervisor since 2001.He is also a Master Life Space Crisis Intervention trainer and a Senior Response Ability Pathways trainer.

He provides family, group, couples, individual and play therapy services, and is trained to assist people suffering from chemical dependency and codependent family living, abuse issues, marriage issues, parent/child and parent/teen conflicts, disordered eating issues and spiritual abuse issues.

Chambers will also speak during the college's Ngage session at 8 p.m. in the Vogel Community Room.
