Senior Art Exhibition by Elizabeth Petersen

The senior art exhibition by Elizabeth (Pedersen) Petersen Nov. 10–14 will consist of acrylic paintings, drawings, prints, ceramic and plaster sculpture and performance art. All of her work is a response to—or conversation with—historic artwork. A printed program will include the referenced art and explanations of her work. In addition to her art major, Petersen is obtaining teaching endorsements in K-12 art teaching and secondary special education. Following graduation, she plans to move from her hometown of Alta, Iowa, to Omaha, Neb., and find a teaching job.
