Carrie (Lokker) Mathison Senior Art Exhibition

Carrie (Lokker) Mathison, a senior art major from Preston, Minn., will show her work Sept. 23-28 as part of the requirements for a bachelor's degree in art. Entitled “Of Earth,” her exhibition will focus on creation and the natural world. Along with landscape drawings and paintings, her work will include pottery, prints and sculpture. Mathison is student teaching in the Chatfield, Minn., school district. In addition to teaching at the high school level, she eventually would like to open her own ceramics studio and workshop.

A reception with the artist is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 23, at 4 p.m.
