Touring Theatre: New Mexico

The Drama Ministries Ensemble, Northwestern's touring theatre company, will be performing at Rehoboth Christian School on the Navajo Reservation. Their performance will be part of a Calvin Institute of Christian Worship conference, "Expressions of Lament and Joy in the Scriptures."

The troupe also plans to perfrom ancient Israelite drama in the desert in response to advice from Shimon Levy, author of "Bible as Theatre," who told DME director Jeff Barker the ancient plays of Israel won't be fully experienced until the company has performed them in the desert (as the tribal Israelites would have).
